To celebrate World Book Day St. John's students came to school on Thursday dressed as a book character. There were a wide variety of costumes on view including St. Trinian’s schoolgirls, Ugly Sisters, fairies, members of the Sleepover Club and princesses as well as Willy Wonka and Where’s Wally.

Students voted for their favourites in the nine categories, including Humour, Thriller and film tie-in. to win Oscars. Winners were announced by the host Mr Steve Tapper at a glitzy award ceremony with St. John’s staff dressing as authors and characters from the winning books and accepting their Oscar.
