Marlborough comedy-lovers are being invited to dress up

as gangsters and molls and join funnymen Marlboroughdotcomedy in a night of

mobster-related japes.

In a series of sketches, hoodlums from Universal

Abduction Services will be demonstrating how the highest standards in customer

care can be injected into any kind of business - even those specialising in

kidnap, extortion and racketeering.

The hoodlums' quality assurance scheme ensures that the

highest standards are maintained, and offers a money-back guarantee to

customers who are not satisfied with the kidnapping of their chosen victim.

Meanwhile the worker co-operative ensures every member of

the company - from the Big Boss to street thugs - enjoy an equal share in the

profits.

Perennial favourites The Sarsen Songmen, professional

cabaret ensemble The Mary Lou Revue and accomplished jazz pianist Anthony

Sycamore have all been made offers they can't refuse to join the night's

proceedings.

Organised by We Love Marlborough, the Gangsters and Molls

Comedy Cabaret will take place at the new Theatre on the Hill, St John's

School, Marlborough on Saturday, May 8 from 7.30pm. Italian food is provided by

Marlborough restaurant Pino's and there is a fully licensed bar.

Tickets cost £24.50 for diners and £12.50 for non-diners,

and tables of between two and eight people can be reserved, making it an ideal

occasion for families, groups of friends or businesses, and special dietary requirements

can be catered for.

Last year's Comedy Cabaret Curry was a sell-out, so early

booking is advised. Contact the booking office on 07805 813259 or visit  www.welovemarlborough.co.uk or log on

to www.universalabductionservices.co.uk to arrange your bespoke abduction.

Jazz Festival, Literary Festival, some local comedy will certainly keep us happy while we wait for Marlborough Theatre Festival, this sounds really fun. I can think of some good candidates for the Universal Abduction Services too!
