The Hospice, which celebrates its 30th anniversary during 2010, wants people with gardens of all sizes to spare a few hours to welcome Prospect supporters at weekends to share their horticultural havens. Prospect hopes to promote a full open gardens programme from Easter onwards this year.
“Last year we initiated our first open gardens programme,” says Community Fundraiser Jane Kendall, “and it gathered pace as the year went on. In 2010 we are hopeful that more people with remarkable gardens of whatever size, will give up a few weekend hours to allow a glimpse behind some of the amazing gardens to be found in our area.”
Over thirty years Prospect Hospice- Marlborough’s local hospice- has gained an unparalleled reputation for providing dedicated end of life care to the people of our community.
If you have a garden that would be of interest to people, and would be happy to invite the public to view it at its prettiest, please contact Jane on 01793 815142 or email janekendall@prospect-hospice.net
And don't forget to register for the Prospect Hospice Marlborough Winter Walk on February 28th.
