Crazy Weather in Marlborough today

The weather in Marlborough today was erratic to say the least, it just couldn’t make up its mind!

I happened to have my camera with me as I had been photographing the progress at Salisbury Road Skatepark. I’ve been going there once a week and every time I’m there noticeable progress has been made. Apparently the work has to be completed by March 31st. The site is certainly bustling with activity on weekdays, so they should hopefully be finished on time.
In town I also saw lots of posters for Conservative PPC Claire Perry’s questions and answers session in the Town Hall tomorrow night.
If you were in the High Street today you will be well aware of how quickly the snow has been coming and going. The sky looked so dark, dramatic and menacing that I felt I had to take a photo. Then the next time I turned round I could see the snow sweeping down the High Street from the Town Hall end. For about five minutes it really was quite a convincing snowstorm- I looked like a snowman- then the snow gradually petered out over the next ten minutes.
If you missed the storm there are a few more photos in this gallery.
Here is the Met Office Forecast for Marlborough for the next few days.
