New Marlborough Town Councillor, Martin Houlden.
Martin stood as the Conservative candidate in yesterday's by-election, but like most people he feels that the Town Council shouldn’t be about politics, but about getting things done.
There was a 29% turnout, which is higher than usual for a by-election in August.

ReportThanks to everyone involved - a great team effort and a great result
I'm really pleased with the verdict delivered by the people of Marlborough West Ward - a huge vote of encouragement for new, younger councillors who want to get involved and get things moving!
