What a celeb-tastic week it’s been for the Marlborough area so far.

On Sunday local luvvie Nigel Havers, who lives near Chilton Foliat, paddled in to the jungle and on to our screens in I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! Yesterday two bonnie young men, Harry and Dougie from McFly, spent nearly four hours in Marlborough signing their new album for fans at Sound Knowledge. And today our future king, Prince William, has announced his engagement to ex-Marlborough college girl, Kate Middleton.

What next? Sometimes Wiltshire resident director Guy Ritchie to shoot his next movie in Marlborough?
