A Watermill Book Club event with a difference....  On Monday July 26th, a TRUE CRIME PANEL, featuring three authors who have actually worked in the world of crime, will endeavour to provide a passport into the world of the police and the criminal.  For all those avid readers of crime novels and thrillers this is a date not to be missed.

All readers will have at one time or another wondered how true to life the plots of crime novels and thrillers really are; this is a rare chance to find out.   The authors will talk about the glitz and grit of the real life crime world – from cops and robbers, to the truth about life behind bars to the real life story of one the biggest heists in history.

 The Panellists are:

Charlie Owen  a former London Metropolitan Police Officer and author of the bestselling Hanstead cops series including HORSE’S ****, BRAVO JUBILEE, FOXTROT OSCAR and TWO TRIBES.

Ronnie Thompson is a former prison officer and author of the memoir SCREWED and the true crime novel BANGED UP.

Rob Ryan is a Sunday Times journalist and author of a non-fiction book on THE GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY.

The True Crime Panel will be at The Watermill on Monday 26 July at 1.30pm

Lunch is available from 12 noon, to book please call the box office.

Tickets £5 from the Box Office at 01635 46044 or online at www.watermill.org.uk
