Fire fighters turn car washers in Marlborough

Fire fighters will be changing job roles to raise money for charity by cleaning cars in Marlborough this Saturday.

Fire crew from Marlborough will be washing cars this Saturday for two charities.
From 10am-2pm, fire fighters will be offering their services to clean cars at the fire station in The Parade.
Funds are being raised for the Fire Fighters Charity and the Kennet Community Transport fund.
The Kennet Community Transport service is run by volunteers to help the elderly and disabled people to get in and around Marlborough. The money raised at the car wash event will go towards maintaining the minibus and covering fuel costs.
The Marlborough fire crew will also be giving advice on home fire safety and other information to anyone interested in joining Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service as an 'on-call' fire fighter
