Thought about selling items on eBay but don’t know where to start?
If so, come along to our eBay day!

We’ll help you set up an account and understand the basics, then come along to a Saturday session with items you wish to list. Spend the day with others uploading images, listing items, watching auctions and placing bids!

Introduction to Digital Photography £40
Saturday 18 June 10:00 - 16:00

The Digital Photography course covers gives an introduction to this evolving technology and looks at basic image manipulation. The day will cover:

• Different types of camera – choosing the correct one for you.
• How images are processed – a bit of the technology.
• Storage of images – Image size and storage media.
• Basic image manipulation – cropping, basic fixes and use of the clone option.

Students will be able to use their own digital cameras or we can provide a camera for your use on the day.

E-Safety Course £40
Saturday 25 June 10:00 – 16:00

How safe are you online? Come along to the E-security course to find out how you can protect yourself against viruses, identity theft and other threats online.

The course will cover:
• internet security so no one else can access the internet through a broadband connection
• Wi-Fi security
• Privacy settings on Facebook profile
• Anti-virus software and firewalls
• File protection
• Password protecting files
• Shopping safely online
• Filtering software
