If you want a real coffee in Marlborough this is the place to go. Just refurbished. The snacks are overpriced as they are in all Costa branches. It is true that the Town Hall casts its shadow over this part of the High Street but there is seating outside and one can usually get a seat inside. It's part of a chain of Coffee Shops so it does have a corporate ambience but that is no bad thing!

Costa is having a refit!

Costa is undergoing a full refit including our lighting and floor and should be trading again from 9/6/11.

Nice Coffee,nice staff, nice place but the floor is disgusting and the whole place could do with an overhaul, alright saving the planet costa but try to save your customers as well... the place is generally needs a overhaul......

Im always slightly less fond of chain, and the front..

Im always slightly less fond of chain, and the front of Marlboroughs Costa is bit dingy simply due to the shadow of the town hall. However it does have one thing going for it - lots of seating.

The coffee is not bad and there are some nice enough (if slightly over priced)nibbles. The staff seemed a bit stressed when I was in there even though it was quiet- its often heaving. It wouldnt be my first choice of coffee shop in town for food, coffee or service, but being fairly sure of a seat goes a long way
