Last chance to see Miss Helen Watson's music hall extravaganza Seasonal Sauce at The Watermill. After quarter of a century the hugely popular show is running for the final time this year but don't worry it will include guest artists and a Top Hats and Tiaras Gala on Friday 1 February where the audience are encouraged to come dressed in full period regalia!

A good balance of stand up, song and sketches - there are plenty of laughs and as well, perhaps, some hints of sadness from the audience during the more nostalgic numbers, all adding to the jovial atmosphere.

Miss Judith Hibbert had the audience in stitches as Gracie Fields and gave a touching rendition of 'Sally', and Mr Andy Eastwood performed a very impressive medley of film intros on the violin.

The Watermill's small stage setting looked every bit the part decked out as a miniature theatre royal and Mr Clive Greenwood makes an excellent chairman.

Feel good songs like 'Spread a Little Happiness' had the audience singing along and their enthusiasm is infectious, it doesn't matter if you don't know the words - you will be singing along by the third chorus!

South Pacific in the second half is the perfect sunshine injection needed at this time of year, and, for those that overdosed on Strictly Come Dancing this year, there is a Masochism Tango that will bring a tear to your eye!

Spring Seasonal Sauce will be running at The Watermill Theatre, Newbury until Saturday 9 February.
