Who?

We are a Wiltshire-wide charity supporting people who care for family members or friends. This could be looking after a young child with a learning disability, caring for an elderly spouse with dementia or helping a friend with a mental health problem, to name but a few examples.

We provide carers with confidential emotional support, access to information that can help them with their caring role, as well as opportunities for time out – social groups, pampering sessions and days out. All of our services are free to carers.

Please do not confuse the word 'carer' with 'care worker'. Carers are not paid in the sense we are talking about. They are people committing their time and energy into enabling someone else to carry on with a reasonable quality of life. It could be a couple of hours a day or as much as 24/7, day and night.

Chances are you know, have known, or will know, someone who will look after someone else because of illness, disability or age.

When?

The draw will take place on Thursday 29th September at Devizes Sports Club. All winners not present will be notified shortly after the draw and arrangement for delivery of their prize(s) will be made.
