Eat well at the Jazz Festival .....

As most of you'll know, the Annual Marlborough Jazz Festival is on this weekend. The town becomes the hip-hop, jive-dancing, groovy, European capital of jazz for a few days.

What you may not know is that we've been asked to do the catering - well, at one prominent venue.

So, behind our old shop (at Old Lion Court) there will be a huge marquee full of jazz players, doing what they do best. And just before you arrive at their entrance, we'll be doing what we do best.

Simply follow your nose towards the aroma of fresh cooking. We'll be serving up possibly the nicest, juiciest, meatiest (and veggie option!), tastiest, freshest, yummiest 'slightly different' burgers, to 'eat-on-the-go', that you've ever tasted.

And don't forget the lashings of home-made salsas, mayonnaise and other gorgeous things on top?

We'll be cooking on Friday night from about 6pm until the end of play - and then on Saturday we shall be 'on service' cooking from 12 noon until midnight.

We'll have a lot of fun and we very much hope to serve lots and lots of you.

Even if you don't like jazz, why don't you come on down and eat with us?

Best wishes,

Bob and Nikki

PS - don't panic about missing out on your coffee though, we'll be open as usual in the Cafe on Saturday - with cold drinks, coffee, sandwiches and cakes etc. So you can enjoy our hospitality at two venues - how lucky are you?

PS - don't forget about our late opening on Tuesdays and Thursdays (5-7pm) for tapas and wine? Based on your comments, we may have to do this as a regular event ........
